Horseback Riding (Blue Grass)

Feel like you're in a western movie, surrounded by the expansive nature of Aso!

Journey to the idyllic location of Mt. Nekodake, one of the five peaks of Aso, and relax through horseback riding or horse leading. It doesn't matter if you're young, old, or have no experience, as certified instructors are there to help you handle your horse. The horses are specially trained to provide a mentally and physically relaxing experience among the great outdoors.

Different options for experienced riders

Blue Grass offers a variety of courses including simple horse leading for total beginners, lessons on how to ride, and off-ranch riding for experienced riders. Visitors seriously interested in horsemanship can even try our "Cowboy/Cowgirl Courses", which feature ride simulations and training, and multiple off-ranch practice rides.
The ranch also has its own restaurant called Umanokura. You can enjoy excellent natural views of the ranch grounds as your children take a ride.
